Do you have strong experience with ISO, including development and adherence, audits, CAR’s and a general ability to manage the process throughout the company.

With established distribution centers in St. Catharines, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Buffalo NY, we currently have a growth opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator in St. Catharines, ON.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for the day to day quality assurance program with respect to product conformance and quality of processes, while focusing on continuous improvement and implementing best practices
- Ensuring the QA Manual is followed and implemented companywide
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to the QA program
- Inspect incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables, assisting the inventory department in selecting and evaluating suppliers
- Communicate issues found using established reporting process.
- Observe quality assurance process to trace causes of non-conformance and confer with management to resolve problems
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality; interact with all departments

**Experience**:

- Strong understanding of Quality Management System and ISO 9001-2015 compliancy
- 3-5 years of experience working in a warehousing and distribution environment with a quality assurance program, focusing on on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Working knowledge of welding process, procedures or metal sciences is an asset
- Good understanding of welding standards, AWS, CWB, is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills, possess the ability to make sound decisions with good judgment
- Highly self-motivated work ethic and positive attitude, with the ability to work in a team environment and help educate others
- Above average attention to detail with strong organization and communication skills
- A bachelor degree or similar experience preferred.

**Travel**:
Moderate for short periods of time (10-15%). This may include international travel

**Remuneration**:
1. This position includes a competitive base salary and bonus, as well as other standard benefits including health care and retirement package.
