**What We Are Looking For**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Contact customers to negotiate payment of outstanding accounts for external bank clients;
- Negotiating payment arrangements to resolve customers' accounts and communicating same to the internal team;
- Diarize and follow-up with negotiations;
- Review title searches/credit bureaus to enable negotiations with customers and substantiate any resolution;
- Sending payout statements, upon request;
- Document all related activities to our internal and client system, via Techcom, adhering to client prescribed guidelines;
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers, with a view to resolution;
- Comply with client policies and procedures; including internal and external deadlines;
- Ability to overcome challenges and obstacles both independently and in cooperation with the team; and
- Perform administrative tasks and clerical duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Collections Officer;
- experience with collecting for financial institutions is an asset;
- Ability to negotiate with debtors in a diplomatic manner with a view to settling debts;
- The ability to effectively balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment;
- Experience with Techcom/DRN/FCT/Litigation Highway is an asset; and,
- Satisfactory criminal records check
