**Reports to**: Accounting Manager

**Profile**:
**Scope of Responsibility**:

- Entering or updating Accounts Receivable, end-of-period adjustments, and maintaining general ledger
- Managing Accounts Receivable closely with AP, Accounting Manager and Project Operations Team
- Ensuring that revenue is recorded accurately and reporting discrepancies to the Accounting Manager and Project Operations Team
- Reconciliation of financial transactions as required
- Answer and manage client inquiries in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with prompt payment terms and other relevant legislation
- Perform clerical duties such as maintaining filing & record systems, performing general office roles.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary graduate - Accounting Diploma/Certification or working toward designation
- 2+ years of relevant working experience
- Experience as a bookkeeper and/or accounts receivable clerk
- Experience in construction accounting would be an asset
- Experience with accounting and project management software systems (i.e., Sage 100, Procore)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent time management, and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and manage work effectively
- Strong work ethic, attention to details, & a high degree of accuracy and you meet deadlines as assigned
- Familiarity with general accounting principles

Familiarity with Sage (any Sage product, not specifically Sage 100 Contractor) would be a real asset coming into the position.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
