**About the Role**

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the AP Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of company accounts payable transactions, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting quarterly and annual financial reporting initiatives.

**Salary**:

- $55,000-$60,000 annually.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process, match, and verify incoming invoices to the appropriate account;
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of invoices into the Jonas system;
- Prepare and process electronic payments in accordance with company policies and terms;
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain documentation;
- Support and maintain strong relationships with vendor suppliers;
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal departments regarding invoices, purchase orders, or payments;
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary reports and documentation;
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date;
- Ensure compliance with applicable provincial and federal tax regulations;
- Support with internal and external company audits by responding to inquiries;
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess a high school diploma or GED certification;
- A post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset;
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the finance industry as an accounts payable administrator or similar;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel programs;
- Experience in Jonas or a similar accounting software;
- Ability to commute to the corporate head office in Aurora, ON for work.
