The Administration & Accounting Assistant reports to the Vice President of Finance working both in office and remotely. Working alongside other administrators and accountants, the Administration Associate handles A/P, A/R, reporting, and other work as needed. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask while working independently.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Receivable
- Credits
- Cash Receipt Posting
- New Customer Set-up
- New Customer Credit Applications
- Credit Card Transactions
- Accounts Payable
- All Freight invoice authorization and entry (Also Imperial Oil, Petro Canada, 407 ETR, Yellow Pages)
- US payables authorization and entry
- Canadian Payment Run pulling and issuing (Cheque, Wire, EFT)
- Other
- Expenses Processing
- AR Calling
- Bank Deposits and Credit Card deposits on NetSuite
- Compare List of Deposits to NetSuite to make sure everything has been posted
- JE as needed
- Process cheque run for mail
- Reports
- Monthly Expense Summary
- Monthly Sales and COGS comparison
- Monthly EGD Rebate
- Weekly Order Action Report
- Weekly EDG/UGL trending report
- Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
- Post secondary degree/diploma with at least 1-2 years of administrative/accounting experience
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of NetSuite ERP system would be considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
