Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Successful completion of a secretarial assistant training program and/or a combination of relevant experience and training performing secretarial duties including clerical and reception duties in an office-type environment such as, but not limited to: tracking correspondence, processing incoming and outgoing mail, physical and electronic file maintenance, managing calendars and shared inboxes, coordinating meetings, ordering office supplies, maintaining attendance records, and familiarity with using various office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and effectively manage tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with all employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience providing customer service to the public by phone and in-person in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Ability to work with highly sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong verbal communication skills in French.
- Strong written communication in English.
- Strong written communication skills in French.

**Duties**:
The Bilingual Administrative Secretary is accountable for providing comprehensive administrative support to the branch, including front-line reception services. Key responsibilities include procuring office supplies, reviewing and coding invoices, monitoring authority-seeking documentation, proofreading and formatting formal submissions and correspondence, maintaining timekeeping records, and managing filing systems. The incumbent collaborates with branch staff while demonstrating the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
