P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres is a non-profit, community-based child care organization. We offer programs ranging from Infant to School age at various locations across the Durham Region.
**Position: Administrative Assistant**
**Location: Head Office - Whitby, ON**
**Status: Part Time (20-35 hours per week)**
**Hourly Rate: $25/hour**
**Administrative/Financial Duties**
- Reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Perform general administrative duties reception, clerical, mail deliveries, inventory supplies and equipment.
- Order office supplies for the organization.
- Process accounts payable
- Verify entries in Quickbooks and Accounts Receivable entries
- Reconcile organizational bank deposits.
- Record minutes from meetings when needed
**Customer Service**
- Act as the first point of contact for P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres
- Communicate in a professional manner at all times
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- **Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience with Quickbooks**:
- **Strong working experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.**:
- Diploma/Certificate in Business, Accounting or HR is an asset
- Three - Five Years administrative experience.
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Strong communication skills both writing and orally.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Flexible and co-operative working with in a team.
- Knowledgeable in general accounting.
- Social media management experience would be considered an asset
