Your Opportunity:
The Admin V is an advanced position that supports the Integrated Quality Management (IQM Portfolio for the Edmonton Zone). Working with mínimal guidance and direction the Admin Support V utilizes substantial skills to perform a range of specialized activities. Additionally, the Admin Support V is the first point of contact for the department in many instances, dealing with other departments and programs throughout the province, and uses discretion to address escalated issues or problems where there may not be established processes or guidelines. The Admin Support V will use superior organizational and interpersonal skills to support the activities of IQM. Duties are diverse and require a high level of knowledge in a broad range of procedures and processes to ensure an efficient flow of communications, performs duties of a sensitive and confidential nature; works independently to develop solutions based on approved guidelines, policies, and principles. Works independently to complete assigned operational responsibilities meeting strict deadlines. The Admin Support V must independently identify daily priorities and identify how to best assist the portfolio from day to day. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining schedules, and calendars, developing, formatting, and editing presentations or other written material, correspondence, organizing meetings, preparing, and circulating agendas, taking minutes at multiple meetings, and communicating with other members of the team, payroll, managing competing priorities, and onboarding/offboarding activities for staff.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in an administrative position. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Experience in complex calendar management, organizing information, preparing agendas, minute recording, composing correspondence, preparing complex reports and presentations, and table and project management is required. Gathering resources and background material. Requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Requires independent judgment, initiative, responsibility, and action. Must be proactive, flexible, and able to work with competing priorities, variety and complexity of issues. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) and interoffice communication systems (SharePoint, MS Teams. Working within a complex organization on innovative project proposals and planning studies. Demonstrated leadership planning, priority setting, and time management skills required.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Advanced knowledge of AHS administrative systems, financial and human resources processes, and policies required.
