At E. Bollenbach Insurance Brokers, we have a unique opportunity for someone that is a TSR and either has or wants to get their RIBO license and grow their insurance career. You will be providing support to ensure our amazing clients are looked after and also serve as the back up for the current Office Manager to cover off vacations because we believe taking vacations is important to recharge and have a healthy work life balance
This role is in-office position in our Kitchener location.
**So, What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?**
- Responsible for reception duties including greeting clients, answering phones, mail/courier, supply orders.
- Scan all incoming mail/documents according to company procedures, ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Enter all assigned new business in carrier portals, ensuring accurate submission.
- Collaborate with insurance carrier carriers to process and submit change requests ensuring all documentation is complete and systems are updated accordingly.
- Proactively follow up with clients and carriers to address missing information or documentation.
- Process client payments and broker payment requests promptly and accurately including sending payment reminder notifications to clients and address any follow-up inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and policy information in the system, troubleshooting discrepancies.
- Assist with pre-renewal preparation, preparing letters, certificates, issuing pink slips, etc.
- Stay informed about carrier offerings, product updates, and procedural changes to provide accurate information and support.
- Create and set up new profiles for prospects in the broker management system.
- Remove MVR information from cancelled auto files as per Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Complete invoicing for non-downloaded policies, including trouble shooting any discrepancies.
**Qualifications**
- RIBO licensed; must obtain within the first 3 months of employment.
- Previous experience working in a brokerage in personal lines either in a TSR or Customer Service Broker role.
- Prior working experience with PowerBroker is an asset
