**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Information Technology (IT) Manager, the Technical Support Technician will provide first-line technical support for PCs, printers, terminals, other technical devices and software issues within WRHN. The incumbent will also support all internal and external customer computer inquiries, with prompt and courteous service as a constant focus. The Technical Support Technician is responsible for triaging calls to the appropriate IT Analyst for appropriate repairs and follow-up if necessary. Other responsibilities include the creation and follow-up of all customer calls utilizing a Call Tracking database, daily system audits, weekly/monthly service report creation and maintenance of the IT knowledge base.
**Position Requirements**:
Post-secondary diploma/degree in Information Technology
One to two (1-2) years of relevant experience
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
