The Allied Health Team includes Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech-Language Pathology, Recreation Therapy, Therapy Assistants, Spiritual Care, & the zone STIPP team. The Administrative Support II (AS II) will be adaptable & open to the continuous changes that occur in an acute care setting. The environment is challenging & fast-paced, so we are looking for a team member that is flexible & resilient while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills & an ability to work cohesively in an inter-disciplinary setting. This position offers an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team where operational needs often require a shift in tasks. As the successful incumbent, you will be effective in time management & demonstrate professional initiative. You will also be a critical thinker with the ability to work autonomously & demonstrate good team player qualities of humility & compassion, easily getting along with your colleagues. You will be a strong communicator, both in written & verbal exchanges, able to respond to competing demands with emotional intelligence. A spirit of humility & a willingness to learn & develop is also essential in this position. Duties include: Reception; Answer/direct phone calls; Respond to basic operational inquiries; Liaise/communicate with patient care units & other departments to support operational workflow, faxing, photocopying, filing, typing; Printing standard reports; Environmental/department organization; Complete/submit forms/documents; Order/stock equipment & supplies; Data entry/database maintenance; Search for & retrieve requested information; Other clerical duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Admin support experience working in an adult acute care setting within the past two years. Admin support experience in customer service or reception. Experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access) and excellent keyboarding skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Medical Office Assistant/Unit Clerk or equivalent. Admin support experience supporting Allied Health department/disciplines. 1+ years Admin Support experience in adult acute care. Working knowledge of Connect Care, MySchedule, i-Procurement, e-Facilities, Grand & Toy ordering, and other AHS systems.
