**Your Opportunity**:
Reporting to the MLT II and the Anatomical Pathology Supervisor, the Administrative Support II is primarily responsible for, but not limited to filing and/or scanning of Anatomical Pathology patient slides, tissue blocks and paperwork. Receives patient material, verifies patient material and information received is accurate for processing. Checks filed documents/patient material as required. Ensures documents/materials sourced from files are returned to correct file. Receives, sorts, case assembles (in Epic) and distributes patient material. Assign the cases to the Pathologist’s Queue in the Connect Care. Verify technical workload tasks performed in EPIC. Completes on site patient material retrieval and transport. Prepare documentation and make arrangements to transfer archived material to Iron Mountain. This role requires manual dexterity for 75% or more during shift.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Proficiency in data entry. Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required (i.e. more than 75% of time on the job.). Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to explain information in a well thought out, logical and effective manner.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience with Connect Care. Experience in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting. Experience with filing.
