Perth, Canada Rideau Supply Full time

Rideau Supply is a leading supplier of Pumps, Water Treatment Technology, Drilling, Irrigation, Waste Water and Heating Supplies. We work with our customers to build strong relationships and to provide the best products and service. The Company is comprised of 5 locations in Ontario (Stratford, Barrie, Hastings North Bay and Perth) and one in Amherst Nova Scotia.
- Entering customer orders on Streamline (internal ERP system)
- Sizing equipment and providing specifications to dealers
- Assisting Outside Sales team with any support they require
- Trouble shooting product issues and deficiencies
- Assisting walk in customers with technical service
- Calling vendors to check stock
- Assembling pumps and softeners as needed
- Obtaining pricing and negotiating with vendors
- Answering any calls that come in throughout the day
- Assisting co-workers with help on any issues and projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Performing repairs to returned customer products
- Picking orders and helping warehouse as needed
- Counting inventory
- Attending seminars and training sessions
- Back counter sales
- Heavy lifting

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Knowledge and exposure to plumbing industry an asset
- 1-3 years of related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Order desk experience preferred but not required
- Customer Service Skills
- Attention to Detail
