Server

**We are looking for a Part Time Tap Room Server to join our front of house team 1- 3 days a week. If you are a people person, have a strong work ethic and a passion for craft beer, then we want to hear from you**

**The taproom server is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests in our taproom and filling curbside and online customer orders.**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times**
- **Greets all visitors to the brewery and pours beer for tasting**
- **Answers visitor's questions and able to provide general tourist information**
- **Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of the brewery and our beer**
- **Work in a team environment**
- **May be assigned other tasks or be asked to participate in other activities both on-site and off-site as needed.**
- **Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols**
- **Able to work under pressure in a fast-past environment - Multitasking is key**
- **Ability to work evenings and weekends, including special events both on and off-site**
- **Complete daily task/ cleaning duties
- daily checklists, cleaning tables, washrooms, floors etc.**
- **Effectively describe and suggest beer to customers**
- **Operate the cash register in a retail environment**
- **Has a passion and fundamental understanding of craft beer and its culture**
- **Previous r**estaurant serving/ Bartending experience **preferred (at least 1 year)**
- **Positive professional attitude**
- **Team player with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure**
- **Strong multi-tasking skills**
- **Must be able to use a computerized register system and have good cash handling skills**
- **Previous experience in retail sales preferred (at least 1 year)**
- **Professional, polite, and reliable**
- **Ability to follow written and verbal instruction**
- **Must have problem-solving abilities & be able to think quickly on your feet**
- **Able to work a flexible schedule**
- **High school diploma or equivalent and/or qualified experience required**
- **Professional appearance and demeanor**
- **Able to lift up to 50 pounds**
- **Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day**
- **Must have own form of transportation**
- **Must have Smart Serve**

**Job Type**: Part-time
