We are a small family-owned bakery seeking an experienced part-time baker to join our team. Our bakery specializes in homemade sourdough breads, pastries, and confections.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of sourdough breads, pastries, and confections in a timely manner
- Mix doughs according to established recipes and procedures
- Prepare, bulk ferment, scale, shape and bake breads in an artisan steam-injected oven
- Ensure all baked goods are of high quality and consistent with our standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work alone and in a team environment as needed
- Be available to work evenings and weekends
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective production
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area
- Be loyal, dependable and dedicated to the job

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience as a baker in a similar environment
- Ability to work alone and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong knowledge of bread making techniques and procedures
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be reliable and not prone to frequent absences
