This is a hybrid role for remote and on-site (Sackville). Primarily remote, but you must be able to occasionally visit the office and be located in the Greater Halifax Area to be considered.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic entry level digital marketing assistant. You will be working with the team and assisting with all related marketing tasks. You may be required to perform administrative tasks, conduct market research, update the system database, create marketing literature, and foster strong relationships with our customers.

You will assist with the implementation of Race Auto’s digital marketing strategy to achieve agreed targets and key performance indicators. Keeping up to date with new digital marketing techniques, the post-holder will also contribute to the long-term development of our digital marketing strategy.

To ensure success as a digital marketing assistant, you should have knowledge of digital marketing techniques, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work to deadlines.

Description of duties:

- Coordinate all social media channels in a consistent ‘on brand’ voice
- Ensure the website is fully optimised for search engines
- Composing and posting online content for the company’s social media pages and website.
- Increase the number of followers, likes and audiences for our digital marketing and social media outputs and increase on post clicks and engagement.
- Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of all marketing activities.
- Conducting market research and analysing marketing surveys.
- Employing online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages.
- Creating of online campaigns and promotions
- Building strong relationships with customers

**Requirements**:

- Have a vehicle and the ability to work from dealership locations (primarily Sackville) on occasion, if required
- Knowledge of marketing techniques
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software.
- Proficient in designing of creatives to utilise across online platforms
- Knowledge of CRM tools, Google AdWords, and online analytics.
- Understanding of marketing principles.
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of automotive industry
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
