About the Role
Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP) provides clinical counselling services to employees of client organizations who may be experiencing problems in their personal, family, or work lives. In addition, the program provides several organizational services to its corporate clients, including workplace consulting, training, and critical incident stress management responses. As a social enterprise of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV), FSEAP is a fee-generating business, with all of its profits going to support the larger work of FSGV and the Greater Vancouver community.
FSEAP Vancouver maintains an affiliate network of highly qualified and experienced providers who deliver a range of clinical and work-life services to employees and their family members. FSEAP’s network includes over 200 specialists that include individual providers, group practices, and agencies across B.C. and the Yukon Territory.
About our Opportunity:
**1) Workshop Facilitator ($60-70/hr starting)**
- Superior facilitation skills and ability to plan and present a wide range of mental health and wellness-related topics workplace mental health, stress management, burn out/vicarious trauma, conflict resolution, and more.
- A minimum of one year experience in workshop facilitation/development and working with groups.

- Be set as available for timely response of an on-site workplace trauma requiring crisis intervention
- A minimum of one year experience in crisis management and/or trauma response with both individuals and groups
- Formal training and certification in CISM/CISD is an asset

What you bring:
Specialized skills and expertise in one of the following areas will be required:
- Workshop Facilitation
- Critical Incident Response/Critical Incident Stress Management (CIR/CISM)
**Education, Training, Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree related to arts, human services, social sciences or other related discipline.
- Three years of mental health-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Strong commitment to working collaboratively and demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Possesses adequate knowledge of community resources and can suggest alternative supports when applicable
- Flexible scheduling and can accommodate time-sensitive requests within reasonable timeframes
- Maintain the strictest level of confidentiality with all client and agency-related information
- Demonstrated ability to be organized and maintain professional records and timely submission of paperwork
- Competency and commitment in creating a safe space while delivering services through a social justice and anti-oppressive lens
**Additional Requirements**
- Successful completion of criminal record check
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination status will be required
