Organization: Leave Out Violence (LOVE) BC Location: Vancouver and Lower Mainland, BC Hours: On-call Compensation: $50/hour About LOVE BC LOVE BC (Leave Out Violence BC) is a youth-driven organization with over 20 years of experience supporting underserved youth through violence prevention, skill-building, and creative expression. We offer weekly youth-centered programs, including art, games, self-defense, meals, and individualized support. Across the Lower Mainland, LOVE BC also delivers hundreds of workshops focused on social-emotional learning, social justice, and awareness. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Facilitator to lead engaging, inclusive, and dynamic activities for diverse groups of children and youth. In this role, you will create a positive environment that encourages growth, learning, and fun through well-organized programs. As a contractor, you will lead the delivery and facilitation of LOVE BC workshops on an on-call basis. The standard fee offered is $75 for a 90-minute workshop. Workshops can take place in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland. Access to a car is preferred. Responsibilities Facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Facilitate a variety of workshops including topics such as Healthy Relationships, Boundaries, Anti-racism, etc. Support children with behavioral challenges by adapting activities when appropriate. Requirements Prior experience of at least 3 years facilitating workshops. Strong group management skills with the ability to maintain order while fostering a fun learning environment. Experience working with youth and in inclusive settings is a plus.
