We are looking to employ an energetic and friendly technician/administrative assistant at the Insight Medical Centre.

**Duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Performing initial workup of patients. The primary responsibility will be checking patient's visual acuity and inputting their history into an Electronic Medical Record
- Performing testing including autorefraction, non-contact tonometer and visual field testing. Training is provided and these machines are intuitive and easy to learn and operate.
- Maintaining patient records in a confidential manner and some administrative duties
- Keeping exam rooms and work area clean and tidy

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work as part of the team and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the clinic
- Pleasant personality, professionalism and excellent customer service skills are essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Excellent computer skills

**Hours**: 28 - 40 hours per week

**Salary**:$18-23 dollars per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
