Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Montrium’s mission is to provide document management systems to accelerate the development and approval of new medicines worldwide. Our headquarters are in Montreal and we have an office in Brussels, Belgium as well. As we expand our reach and customer base, we are looking for a **Cloud Infrastructure Specialist** to join our Platform technical team.

**The Primary Responsibilities of the Cloud Infrastructure Specialist are**:

- Maintaining and monitoring Montrium’s SaaS solutions and internal IT infrastructure within the context of a regulated environment.
- Contributing to the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning including backups, restores, failover, and high-availability.
- Contributing to the information security monitoring and maintenance of Montrium’s SaaS platform and internal infrastructure.
- Communicating effectively with multiple teams, internally and externally.
- Participating in the analysis and evaluation of new tools and methodologies.
- Participating in system configuration activities and perform sporadic developments.
- Managing the IT inventory, including end user laptops and imaging.
- Coordinating with vendors.
- Writing technical system documentation (i.e., Change Controls, Configuration Specifications) based on the solution’s Requirements document.
- Supporting and performing system deployments.
- Supporting the issue management (finding, analysis, resolution) process.

**The Skills required for this Positions are**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Engineering, Sciences, or Information Technology; or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development lifecycle and experience in the life science industries.
- Excellent analytical and design skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Ease of communication and documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of computer infrastructure concepts, and ability to implement appropriate solutions to business or technical problems.
- Ability to quickly learn and acquire new technologies autonomously.
- Sporadic travel.
- Written and spoken fluency in both English and French is essential.

**Required technical skills**:

- Scripting (PowerShell)
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Windows Server operating systems is required.

**Assets but Not Required**:

- MCP or willingness to become one
- Object-Oriented programming, NET, C#,
- Experience with configuring and support of Microsoft Azure and Office 365
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing and the deployment of virtualized solutions
- Experience with SharePoint, Nintex Workflows, SQL Server
- Knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security (claims, SAML, ADFS, SSO, MFA, etc.)
- Knowledge of GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR part 11.
- Understanding of concepts such as risk-based approach, fault tree analysis, and tradeoff analysis
