ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:_**
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will support and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and efficiency. You will work with key technologies such as Azure, Veeam Backup, VMware, and Hyper-V, and will have opportunities to expand your knowledge in containerization technologies like Kubernetes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to learn new skills in cloud and containerized environments._

**_WHAT YOU WILL DO:_**
- _
Assist in the management, configuration, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments using VMware and Hyper-V._
- _ Support Azure-based environments, including virtual machines, networks, and storage._
- _ Perform regular backups and recovery operations using Veeam Backup and Recovery solutions._
- _ Monitor system performance and resolve issues to ensure mínimal downtime._
- _ Work closely with the IT team to ensure the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and up-to-date._
- _ Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups._
- _ Assist in managing servers, storage solutions, and network configurations._
- _ Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise._
- _ Work on automating administrative tasks and processes where possible._
- _ Collaborate with team members to improve IT infrastructure, efficiency, and security._
- _ Take initiative to learn and contribute to Kubernetes and container-based technologies._
- _ Join the on-call rotation with other team members._

Qualifications:
**_ EXPERIENCE:_**
- _ Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)._
- _ Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure._
- _ Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools, specifically Veeam Backup._
- _ Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)._
- _ Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system and network issues._
- _ Good communication and collaboration skills within a team environment._
- _ Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within the organization._

**_
NICE-TO-HAVE:_**
- _Experience with monitoring tools and alerting systems._
- _ Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)._
- _ IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, VMware VCP, etc.) are a plus._
