**Summary**:
D&H is looking for a passionate and energetic National Account Manager to discover and capitalize on new opportunities and grow the existing business. The role is responsible for managing the achievement of the revenue and profit objectives through the development, alignment and implementation of business plans and strategies.
Lead sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction and long-term business goals in line with D&H’s vision and values.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for growing sales, gross margin and market share for assigned customers
- Builds and executes account specific and regional market share growth plans
- Creates and executes partner development plans including: key stakeholder relationships, sell through, pricing, marketing, revenue growth and sales training components
- Closes complex sales involving multiple stakeholders
- Actively seeks out and follows up on new account recruitment opportunities
- Achieves all sales and margin goals set forth by management
- Ability to make suggestions, recommendations as a consultant to the customer
- Responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships including C level, sales team, marketing and vendor management
- Increases gross margins through pricing, customer and vendor mix improvements
- Works with vendors to develop new opportunities
- Weekly/daily travel to visit customers at their headquarters, regional offices as well as industry shows.
- Enhance current relationships with our customer base and develop new relationships by creating, value, delivering exceptional levels of support and demonstrating a customer-centric attitude
- Monitor the negotiated business plans, analyze the results, and recommend any corrective strategies
- Manage all aspects of the key account function including pricing and promotional plans, new product presentations, forecasting and inventory management, trade spend management, and manage day-to-day customer needs
**Education and/or Experience: (updated this highlights)**
- Five (5+) years of successful account management experience in Canadian consumer electronics goods market
- Experienced in working with Canada’s Major retailers but not limited to (Staples, Walmart, Costco)
- Excellent systems knowledge to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strategic problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Fundamental understanding of IT solutions
- Two tier distribution experiences desired.
