- Booking new appointments and confirming existing appointments in the schedule effectively
- Experience using Avimark is required
- Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and to book future appointments
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Ability to create invoices and build estimates for clients
- Process payments quickly and efficiently
- Willingness to acquire additional knowledge in; pet nutrition, veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, etc.
- Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments as needed
- Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate an asset
- Can work in our retail store adjacent to clinic
- Previous veterinarian experience preferred
- Previous office administrative experience preferred
