TOBEN Hospitality Group is looking for a new Venue Coordinator for GRACE, a versatile event space North of the Junction. This role is responsible for venue sales, venue coordination, and business development, and reports to the management team. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a growing and fast-paced environment and are looking for a breakout role in the events industry.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:_
- Respond to venue leads in an efficient and professional manner
- Arrange and conduct venue site visits with prospective clients
- Prepare estimates for venue rentals
- Connect clients to TOBEN Event Managers who will prepare estimates for catering inclusive of
- Beverage, staffing, and rentals
- Sell through, close, and coordinate venue contracts
- Scheduling of staffing, furniture rentals, and other event needs where applicable
- Ongoing business development and outreach to bring attention and new bookings
- Vendor management and relationship building
- On-site scheduling and management of supplier load-in/out
- Coordinate venue cleaning schedules
- Consistent market research on competitive venue pricing and offerings
- Brief with Venue Supervisor in advance of each event to provide event information
- Review Venue Supervisor reports following each event and assist with the growth/development of space
- Opportunity to work onsite as a Venue Supervisor during events
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications_
- Minimum 1-year work experience in hospitality
- Previous sales and event experience an asset
- Superior time management and organizational skills a must
- Strong customer service skillset
- Ability to multi-task
- Positive, Respectful team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
