**About the Role**
Reporting to the District Manager, our Store Managers oversee store operations - from customer engagement to final delivery. They build high-performing teams that qualify customers, retain business, and create exceptional in-store experiences, all while driving growth and reinforcing the Coast brand.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Drive Store Performance**: Maximize profitability and ensure strong overall performance.
- **Oversee Operations**: Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal activities, including upkeep and maintenance.
- **Team Development**: Facilitate networking, recruiting, succession planning, and comprehensive training for new sales staff.
- **Sales Strategy & Execution**: Forecast sales opportunities, implement effective growth strategies, and develop and execute a well-structured business plan with targeted local marketing initiatives.
- **Schedule & Training Management**: Manage the sales schedule—including floor coverage, sales meetings, and manufacturer training—and lead in-store training sessions on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- **Sales Support**: Assist Appliance Specialists with closing sales, pricing orders, and addressing customer service issues.
- **Sales Reviews**: Conduct weekly reviews with sales staff to discuss performance metrics, market conditions, and growth opportunities.
- **Culture & Brand Ambassador**: Foster an entrepreneurial spirit, uphold the Coast brand, and ensure a strong company culture and team morale.
- Previous experience as a **retail manager** or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a **commission sales** environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written **communication skills**.
- Proven experience in **team building**, succession planning, and staff training.
- Strong skills in **process facilitation**, **problem solving**, and **conflict resolution**.
- Excellent **analytical abilities** paired with solid **financial and business acumen**.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at multitasking.
