Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service and expert product knowledge to our customers. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about retail sales, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a passion for helping customers find the right products. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are highly valued. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
  • Provide detailed product demonstrations and technical sales support
  • Engage in upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring product availability
  • Offer personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and needs
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Ensure effective time management to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
  • Support store organization through inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to explain product features clearly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
  • Bilingual abilities (English and additional languages) are a plus
  • Strong communication, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
  • Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, and technical sales techniques is advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Friendly demeanor with a passion for helping customers find solutions
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
