- Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage the cooking staff to ensure efficient meal preparation.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of food safety.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in food handling techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes based on customer feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
- Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.
