These roles will work closely with other Practicum Coordinators, faculty, and preceptors to place students who are studying in the Undergrad and Graduate programs. We are currently hiring for two positions: - 1.0 FTE, Regular/Continuing Practicum Coordinator - MN and NP Programs - 0.7 FTE, Regular/Continuing Practicum Coordinator - BSN Program **_*This position is eligible for a Hybrid Work Arrangement*_** **The salary range for these positions is**: - **Recruitment range: $75,755- $83,525** starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement. - **Performance range: $98,528** salary range ceiling is available through annual performance increases. If you have questions about this opportunity, please contact: - Job Summary This position reports to the School of Nursing Director and is part of a team of practicum coordinators and administrative staff in the School of Nursing responsible for securing and coordinating quality practice placements for students in undergraduate and graduate programs that match curriculum learning goals and align with student’s career aspirations. To facilitate this, position will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with a network of resource people in various health and educational institutions across Canada to provide rich learning environments and opportunities for practicum students to grow professionally. This position also works closely with faculty teaching in the Nursing undergraduate and graduate programs, student advisors, and administrative staff. This position may also be required to participate on internal committees, sub-committees, and ad hoc working groups. In addition, this position may participate with community groups, steering committees, and education and career fairs that promote the School within the larger community. This position may be required to travel within the community, partner college sites, or other educational/conference opportunities to promote practice education on behalf of the School of Nursing. - Job Requirements This position requires a Bachelor of Nursing degree with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. In addition, this role requires an active registration and in good standing as a registered nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) or be eligible for and commit to achieving registration.
