Reporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for supporting all day-to-day full cycle bookkeeping functions along with processing and administrative support for payroll. This position requires attention to detail and accurate work within set month-end cut-off procedures. You must be able to take direction from both Management and the Controller and be able to meet monthly deadlines each month. You must possess a keen drive for learning new things and overcoming challenges where required.

The role provides a wide variety of data entry and administrative tasks that will broaden your skill set and help build a strong foundation for your accounting career.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Duties include but are not limited to:
**Data Entry Responsibilities**
- Be able to work proficiently in QuickBooks Desktop
- Ability to bring accounting records up to date and reconciled
- Accounts payable, including critical review and follow-up with vendors and managing holdbacks/retention
- Reconciliation and control of T5018s vendor information, T4’s, GST remittances
- Recording and preparing accounts receivable statements including back charges
- Assist with variance analysis of income and expense accounts to prior years and to budgets
- Assist with preparation of yearly overhead budgets
- Assist with reparation of monthly financial statements and month-end binders
- Assist in writing accounting/operating procedures and work with customers to ensure proper implementation and compliance
- Assist in year-end reporting functions
- Contribute to a cooperative team environment with multiple cross functions
- Assist with supervision of bookkeeping staff and review of their work

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
