**The Role**

KRP is currently looking for a full-time **Administrative Office Assistant** who will serve as an integral member of the administration group. The individual will work collaboratively with the administrative team, and will report to the Director, People Operations.

The Administrative Office Assistant will be responsible for taking initiative and ownership in facilitating successful administrative practices for the whole firm. The individual will be reliable, organized, adaptable, positive and an enthusiastic team member who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with opening/sorting/processing and delivery of incoming & outgoing mail
- Courier preparation and call-ins for pick up
- Completion of daily deposit entry in Excel
- Bank/post-office runs
- Electronic archiving and rolling forward of client files
- Preparation of Registered Mail and Xpresspost deliveries
- Processing of Visa and MasterCard payments using online system
- Inventory, organization and ordering of office/kitchen/coffee supplies
- Reception coverage: provides main reception coverage for daily coffee and lunch breaks, in addition to sick and vacation day coverage
- Additional administrative assistance when required: Back-up for assembly/e-filing department when required and other miscellaneous Executive Assistant requests
- Communication with all Firm members and senior leadership, clients and third-party vendors.

**Qualifications**:

- 1 - 2 years of administrative experience working in an administrative support role.
- Experience in a professional setting would be an asset.
- A diploma in Office Administration or Legal Assistance would be an asset.
- Knowledge and experience working in accounting software such as CaseWare and Tax Prep would be an asset.
- Previous experience in a public practice environment would be an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
