**Reports to**: Community Activator

**Position Summary**: Through a partnership with four non-profit agencies (Bent Arrow, Ribbon Rouge, Edmonton Multicultural Coalition and Sisters Dialogue), the EFCL is engaging in a one year project to increase the skills and knowledge in anti-racist practices for EFCL staff, volunteers and Community League board members. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisor will lead this project. The project includes working with the EFCL staff and board of directors to help align our work to an anti-racist framework, working with Community Leagues to assist them in representing more groups in their neighbourhoods and running a pilot project with six to eight Leagues where they will model program and event development through the lens of diversity, equity and inclusion. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisor works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned.

**Duties and responsibilities**

**Education and Training**
- Host intercultural skills training for Community Leagues
- Support intercultural skills training for EFCL staff and board of directors
- Facilitate intercultural skills development for Leagues participating in the pilot project

**League Support**
- Host intercultural dialogue events alongside partner agencies
- Support League-driven activities and programs
- Assist Leagues with policy development and action plans

**Partnerships**
- Connect partner agencies with their Community Leagues
- Support partner agencies in understanding the Community League model

**Resource Development**
- Use the learnings from the pilot project to develop a framework to continue the work of the pilot

**Salary**: $54,600.00-$65,013.00 per year
