**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring all submissions are comprehensive, accurate, and strategically aligned with client requirements and company goals.
- Own the editing and proofreading process, ensuring all proposals are polished, compelling, and free of errors. Maintain high standards of consistency, grammar, spelling, and formatting.
- In consultation with our Graphic Design Lead, incorporate graphic design elements to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of proposals, ensuring complex information is communicated clearly through visuals.
- Review proposals for compliance with RFP requirements and company standards. Implement and maintain a rigorous version control process.
- Provide strategic input during the proposal development process, leveraging industry knowledge to shape winning proposals.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Scientists and other stakeholders to ensure proposals are cohesive and meet submission deadlines.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of best practice guides, templates, and proposal development tools. Update the Proposal Preparation intranet site to ensure resources are current and accessible.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and best practices in proposal development, ensuring Tetra Tech remains competitive in the marketplace.
- Assist in general business development and marketing activities, including conferences, tradeshows, and client presentations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, or a related field. Certifications in proposal or project management (APMP, CAPM, PMP) considered an asset.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to translate technical material into clear, influential, and client-focused language.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and personalities.
