The Operations Manager, under the direction of the Area Director, oversees the day to day branch operations and manages the administrative team. They also support and actively participates in risk management activities, the internal auditing programs, ISO audits and supports business development/marketing activities as appropriate. The Operations Manager advises on HR related matters and manages admin staff performance. They ensure alignment with strategic direction provided by the Area Director.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assisting in the collection of required reports for the Management Review meetings.
- Participate in the development and management of the annual budget and audit.
- Assist with business development and marketing activities as requested.
- Participate in human resources activities, for positions reporting to you, including, but not limited: recruitment and selection activities, as well as maintaining employee files to ISO standards. In collaboration with local and/or NDC HR; receive, investigate and advise on the timely resolution of employee concerns.
- Motivate and manage the performance of the admin team.
- Promote a strong sense of teamwork and a culture of respect by working together safely, effectively, efficiently with all employees to maintain a productive participatory environment.
- Assist with office operations including space allocation, scheduling, and workload coordination to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Tracking and tending the implementation of follow-up actions as identified through the internal audits and Management Reviews.
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
- Enforce all health and workplace safety standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Responsible for completing Accident Reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job, within 24 hours of the incident.
- Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
- Other duties as assigned.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**

The Operations Managers reports to the Area Director.

This position oversees the day to day operations of the branch, specifically including Clinical and Coordination teams.

Human Resources and IT are out of scope for this role.

Job Qualification

**Qualifications**

**Education**

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a health or business related field.

**Experience**

At least five years of progressively responsible recent experience in office management, two of which were at a supervisory level; strong track record of performance and knowledge/exposure to of business operations, business development, financial management and human resources.
