**Production Technician (L1)** will be reporting to the Production Manager and responsible for processing and packaging of Cannabis products.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**People**:

- Collaborate with QA, maintenance and other departments to ensure support is obtained.
- Lead by example and foster relationships within team.
- Meet daily task assignment and performance expectations.
- Participate in shift meetings and team huddles.

**Process**:

- Ensure SOP’s, company policies and GMP’s are followed at all times.
- Provide input to update SOP’s and documents used in production.
- All Cannabis products must be processed and packaged within Health Canada regulations and company procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement ideas and help drive down costs.
- Complete documents and ensure compliance on good documentation.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Operate production equipment on both processing and packaging.
- Clean equipment and rooms in accordance to SOP’s.
- Weigh, label and package product in accordance to SOP’s.
- Ability to work flexible shifts should there be a need.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Ability to lift up to 20kg.
- Ability to stand throughout daily shift and execute repetitive tasks.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum 1 year prior experience in a production GMP environment.
- Prior experience in Cannabis, food and or pharmaceuticals would be an asset.

**Job Type**:Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.10 per hour

**Benefit Entitlement**: After 1 month of employment

**Please note Galaxie is located in Puslinch, a rural area just outside of Hamilton/Cambridge**
