Production Support Technician

Roadtrek is excited to be adding a **Production Support Technician** to our team. Our Class B motorhomes are essentially a mobile “tiny” home that is mass produced. All the issues that can be challenges in the building of a home exist in our RV “mobile homes”, but the design must be consistently repeatable rather than a custom build.
This position provides the opportunity to investigate, resolve and implement product design solutions for production issues and to improve upon quality. The position requires analytical problem-solving skills coupled with an expertise in designing, creating drawings and implementing product changes.
- Analyze, problem solve and propose solutions to production issues
- Work closely with design team members to resolve production issues, recommend improvements to production processes and provide technical input, support and guidance
- Researching of alternate sources of components
- Ensure processes provide a high level of safety and ergonomic compliance
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards as well as Roadtrek Inc’s policies and procedures
**Qualifications**
- Experience in product design, design for manufacturing or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Previous experience with resolving product design problems
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical fundamentals as well as associated codes
- SolidWorks certification is considered an asset
- 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing role that provided progressive amounts of responsibility
- Advanced knowledge of production processes, equipment and standards
- Capable of working well and collaborating within multi-functional teams
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and share insights to Senior management
- Capable of handling projects from inception to completion
