Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of major set ups, processing, fabrication, and assembly of products. They must possess a skill level in welding or brazing and will be assigned job leader functions periodically. As well as various support duties associated with the manufacturing and shipment of product. The technician must also be capable reading drawings and procedures and keep accurate records.

We are looking to add to our electronics manufacturing skillset with this position. Training will focus on this specific area of manufacturing to start with but is not limited.

Primary responsibilities include:
1. Manufacture the products according to the assigned documentation, with a high degree of workmanship.

2. Responsible for special orders, rework requirements and experimental assignments as assigned.

3. Tasks include welding and brazing, reading drawings and procedures, swaging, drawing, x-raying, etching and the use of a vacuum bake out oven.

4. Receive oral and written instructions and perform the task per those instructions and procedures.

5. Operate manufacturing equipment to supply assembled or sub -assembled products and perform inspection checks to ensure conformance with quality standards and customer requirements.

6. Assemble, measure, test, mark, inspect and pack assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.

7. Fabricate various assemblies and components by following and interpreting specifications to meet all quality standards.

8. Set up and operate equipment required to perform a variety of in-process, final or special tests to inspect, classify or verify that the product meets customer requirements, specifications and quality standards.

Education & Experience:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience, in a similar environment

3. Welding or brazing experience

Other Requirements:

- Proficient written and verbal communication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of AC safety and protocols
- High level problem solving, creative and development-minded
- Physical requirements for this position include bending, lifting, and walking, sitting, turning and repetitive motion.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
