Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Advisor at Weston Construction Alberta in Edmonton, AB. This is a Junior Position for someone that is looking for experience on a large civil project with a high profile and large footprint. The Safety Adviser will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, providing safety training, meeting client expectations and assisting with injury management in addition to related HSE duties as assigned.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn on a large high-profile site. In town and at home every night.
**Qualifications**:
OHS Graduate
Willing to learn
Able to provide coverage over varied hours during the day
Able to get to the job site
Able to pass a Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Screening
Class 5 driver license at a minimum
Permanent Canadian Resident
Safety Certificates such as First Aid, Confined Space, Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform are assets.
