Job Summary:
Greetings from Toronto Fresh Food Located in Scarborough, we are a regular Chinese food factory through HACCP certification for busy professionals while also putting an emphasis on health and nutrition. We diligently serve market store and warehouse store chains with our cold-chain DSD services.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and deadlines, while monitoring workflow and adjusting resources to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures, conducting regular inspections to guarantee the highest quality products and address any deviations from standards.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor production team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
- Plan and manage worker lunch breaks, changeovers, shift changes, and discipline according to company policies and the collective agreement.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures, investigating and reporting accidents or incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth processes, improve production effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials, coordinating with the Production Manager to assess resource needs and plan for future production requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance overall efficiency.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in production supervision within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. (GMP/HACCP)
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week

Additional pay:
