Reporting to the Production Manager, the Junior Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the shop and ensuring productivity and goals are achieved. The Junior Production Supervisor will lead the team by engaging the employees through excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Supervise production team on a project by project basis;
- Ensure company safety policies are followed and respected;
- Report any deficiencies to the Production Manager;
- Communicate with planning and shipping daily to validate order and inventory status;
- Validate production status daily with the Production Manager;
- Prepare Monthly Meetings with plant employees;
- Make sure all breakdowns and PM's are met with the maintenance team;
- Printing tags for fabrication;
- Print shop drawings;
- Data Entry;
- Assisting Scheduler as needed;
- Putting together BOLs, daily logs, etc;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in mechanical engineering;
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to establish strong and trusting relationships with employees;
- Good organizational and multitasking skills;
- Knowledge of Excel; ability to work in a Google environment;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Self starter who takes initiative and is autonomous.
