- Salary range for Production Supervisor from $65,000 to $80,000k / year
- Lead with a core belief of Safety as a Value. Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship and strong safety culture with supervisors and department employees to ensure compliance for all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Assist Production Manager in preparing and implementing action plans and continuous improvement strategies relevant to Operations
- Assist the Production Manager with the review and prioritization of work orders to support safety improvements and operational efficiency
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily scheduled production
- Accountable for the health and safety of all workers under their supervision; responsible for ensuring that all operations are safe and that employees work in compliance with established work practices and procedures; interacts with and participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee
- Monitor and/or control quality and production levels
- Conduct timely accident and investigation reports and all follow up in such matters to closure
- Identify problems on the floor and make quick decisions to resolve them to support the plant goals
- Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices
- Identify employee development and training needs, documents training and ensures that training is effective.

- Must demonstrate a competence in all **supervisory skills and requirements**:

- ** Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills** are a must to be successful in a **team environment**:

- Strong commitment to **safe work behaviors** is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)
- Ability to work in a **fast-paced environment**
