As part of our people team, our HR Coordinator is a solution focused, detail-oriented professional who is integral to managing our employee lifecycle and ensuring our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and people practices are optimized. You will work closely with the team to support our business, playing a key role in maintaining the integrity of our HRIS and time & attendance systems and processes. You are organized, and excel at bridging people, processes, and technology. You are curious about how things connect, and able to simply streamline processes to ensure our people data tells our story.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

**HRIS Systems & Data Management**
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our HRIS system and workflows, understanding our business and staying up to date with trends and best practices to optimize our people systems
- Assist with evaluating, testing, and configuring our HRIS systems to ensure our data, information and reports tell the history of our people and support our people processes
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve our systems and practices to support our employee and contractor lifecycles
- Support creating training resources and delivering training on our people systems to enable their teams’ success
- Partner with the HR team to create and maintain up-to-date business processes, training materials, HRIS system documentation and user guides, presentations, manuals and other resources.
- Work with the business to ensure profiles are configured and our timekeeping systems are set to support the right outcomes for timely and accurate processing
- Create, organize and maintain employee records

**People Coordination**
- Set up new hires, process people changes and terminations in support of our business processes
- Support recruitment and employer brand related activities including performing background checks, drafting offer packages, scheduling interviews and other related tasks
- Support with activities related to employees’ and contractor lifecycle (i.e., update records and facilitate related changes to ensure that they are captured to reflect each team members’ story
- Support new hires and our contract workforce, including conducting orientations, training, and ensuring all training is completed
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, such as collection of employee feedback, compensation reviews, etc.
- Assist employees with benefits enrolment, claims, and related queries
- Provide support to processing payroll, reviewing and verifying timesheets.

**OTHER DUTIES**

At Pure Sunfarms, we are all growers at heart. Our plants and processes require in-person care and attention to ensure we’re bringing the best our plants and people have to offer to our consumers. This means other duties may arise since we work together to ensure we support all business activities - seed to sale.

This role is on-site, which requires you to work at Pure Sunfarms’ facility at all times in an operating role or directly supporting operations.

**YOUR BRAND, YOUR STORY**

We already know you are passionate about HR Operations, Payroll, and Labour Relations, but we want to know more about your story and experiences. You're good at the following:

- 2+ years’ experience as an HR Coordinator with extensive HRIS experience systems
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in human resources, business administration, or a related field is typically required
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources position
- Skilled with MS Office, HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now is a bonus), and technologies
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with confidence communicating both internally and externally
- Positive attitude with a passion to elevate the details to ensure an exceptional employee experience
- Punjabi Language considered an asset
- CPHR or working towards obtaining considered an asset
- Leads with a customer focus and effective at building relationships with employees, cross-functionally and on a team
- Strong integrity and description capabilities in handling sensitive employee information
- Must have the ability to maintain and pass a RCMP criminal record check and obtain a security clearance.
