**Receptionists Wanted: Arrowsmith Animal Hospital**
Arrowsmith Animal Hospital is a new veterinary clinic located in Port Alberni, BC, founded by four dedicated veterinarians with a shared vision: to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive, inclusive, community-oriented environment. We are currently hiring for multiple receptionists:
Type: Part-time or full-time
Location: Port Alberni, BC
Start Date: Fall 2025 (flexible)
About the Role:
Our front desk is the heart of client experience. We’re seeking someone who thrives on organization, professionalism, and positive energy. You’ll schedule appointments, greet clients warmly, manage invoices, and help create a welcoming clinic atmosphere.
We are a new 3,400 sq ft facility with six exam rooms, dedicated surgical and dental suites, and designated feline-only exam and treatment areas. Our hospital is equipped to provide comprehensive care for all animals, with a full suite of in-house diagnostics including radiology, ultrasound and laboratory. We will be operating with Digitail software.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills
- A kind and patient approach to communication
- Attention to detail and comfort using veterinary software (training provided)
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is a strong asset
- A strong sense of accountability and respect for client confidentiality
