Arrowsmith Animal Hospital is a new veterinary clinic located in Port Alberni, BC, founded by four dedicated veterinarians with a shared vision: to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive, inclusive, community-oriented environment. We are currently hiring for multiple Veterinary Assistants:
Type: Part-time or full-time

Location: Port Alberni, BC

Start Date: Fall 2025 (flexible)

About the Role:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll support the technical and medical team in caring for patients, preparing treatment areas, assisting in restraint, and maintaining a clean, safe, and compassionate environment.

We are a new 3,400 sq ft facility with six exam rooms, dedicated surgical and dental suites, and designated feline-only exam and treatment areas. Our hospital is equipped to provide comprehensive care for all animals, with a full suite of in-house diagnostics including radiology, ultrasound and laboratory. We will be operating with Digitail software.
