**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant to join our team. Experience in an animal hosptal is preferred but not required.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including updating client information and medical histories.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including laboratory coordination.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Handle any client concerns or complaints professionally and empathetically.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly demeanor that fosters trust with clients.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record keeping.
- Able to assist in animal handling and lifting.
- Must be older than 19 years of age.
