**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at our veterinary clinic. You will play a crucial role in managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting our veterinary staff in delivering high-quality care.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries regarding services, treatments, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist with laboratory tasks as needed, including sample collection and preparation.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to facilitate smooth workflow within the clinic.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with laboratory processes or experience in a laboratory setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing exceptional care.
