**What you will do**
Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness (OE), the Departmental Coordinator is a key player in the administrative support function to the EFR Strategic Leadership Team (SLT), the EFR Extended Leadership Team (ELT) and the approximately 100 researchers across the Bank. Working closely with the Manager, MD, and the SLT, the Departmental Business Analyst/Coordinator will contribute to the effectiveness of the department by coordinating and supporting research Bank-wide initiatives.
Specifically you will:
- Liaises with the Board Secretariat and other areas of the Bank to remain well informed of the numerous corporate, departmental and individual business line priorities - recognizing linkages, communicating requirements, providing follow up and ensuring effective coordination of work and quality deliverables.
- Supports the planning of the Fellowship Learning Exchange (FLE) Program and the Leadership Forum (LF) Research Seminars.
- Assists the OE Manager in the strategic planning of research related conferences, workshops and seminars across EFR and acts as departmental event lead (DEL).
- Liaises with the key internal contacts responsible for other Bank committees or groups in which EFR participates or leads.
- Acts as the Secretariat to the SLT and ELT: writes short notes raising issues, assessing alternatives, providing recommendations and summarizing any actions taken.
- Provides guidance for the EFR SLT in the effective and consistent management of information, preparation of reports, back pocket information and presentation materials for the internal and external committee and board meetings.
- Participates in departmental organization effectiveness and work environment initiatives such as EFR blog maintenance, conference scheduling, Visiting Scholar Program.
**What you need to succeed**
You can multitask, while paying attention to detail. You are exceptionally organized and self-motivated to manage workload. Lastly, you are able to communicate effectively, clearly and collaboratively.
**Nice-to-have**
- Knowledge of the Bank’s governance structure and committees
- Well versed in MS suite of tools
**Your education and experience**
The position requires a college or university degree, at least two years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
**What you need to know**
- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
- Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability
- Relocation assistance may be provided, if required

**Hybrid Work Model **#LI-Hybrid**
