**What you will do**
Joining the Bank of Canada as a Student, you will be a valuable member of our Strategic Planning and Support team. You will have the opportunity to work with the team to analyze, design and implement strategic planning and reporting processes to support Information, Data and Analytics Services (IDAS) group. Together, we support the Bank’s research, analysis, and decision-making through innovative and responsive analytics and information management, built on efficient and user-focused technical platforms and tools.

You will utilize your communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders to manage internal client requests and Microsoft SharePoint Online content. You will also develop work and learning plans and conduct business analysis to improve business processes. You will be receiving mentorship from the team and will be supporting other team members and projects. You will work with the team to develop an integrated strategic planning and reporting including performance measures and metrics, risk management and dashboards.

**What you need to succeed**
- You have strong written and oral communication skills
- You are proficient in Microsoft tools, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You have strong problem-solving skills and have ability to plan, organize and perform multiple tasks concurrently, and focus on attention to detail

**Nice-to-have**
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and developing processes and procedures
- Experience developing effective communication materials, such as presentation decks
- Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI

**Your education and experience**
You must be enrolled in a university or college program, as a full-time or part-time student in a filed related to communication, business administration or other relevant program.

**What you need to know**
- Language requirement: English or French essential
- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
- Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability

**Remote work / Hybrid Work Model** #LI-Remote**

The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will be expected to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person and to build connections with colleagues. For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office. For this position, should you not live within reasonable commuting distance of the office, you will be able to work 100% remote (within Canada).for the duration of this term.
