Are you a skilled Product Marketer with expertise bringing tech solutions and digital products to market? National Bank Independent Network (NBIN) is looking for a Product Marketer to develop and lead the go-to-market strategy for the next generation of NBIN’s COMPASS platform. This role will work very closely with our Product team and play a key role in the success of the new features, enhancements and services that we are building for our clients.
COMPASS is NBIN’s client-facing platform which provides access to the tools and technology that advisors need to power their businesses. Tools and services available through COMPASS include account administration and servicing, reporting, trading, client onboarding, and more.
As an integral member of the NBIN Team, the Product Marketer will create go-to-market strategies that best suit each product, ensuring that the client experience is always top of mind. This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer that is detail oriented, passionate about delivering high-quality campaigns and is looking for a hands-on role working in both strategic and tactical capacities.
This role reports to the Manager, Communications & Brand, NBIN.
**Your role**:
- Create and execute go-to-market strategy for NBIN digital products to ensure new products, features and enhancements are effectively brought to market and delivered against KPIs
- Lead the ongoing research and refinement of our digital segments and buyer persona to ensure effective launch and roll out of all products to NBIN’s client base
- Develop messaging and positioning for NBIN’s digital product offering that differentiates us from our competitors and demonstrates a clear understanding of our users’ needs and pain points
- Collaborate with Product Management, Training, Sales and Support teams to strategize and align on go-to-market and client engagement activities
- Lead the development of impactful sales enablement materials and support the team to win in a competitive sales environment (ex. Product demos, video content, sales decks, and more)
- Develop and execute a plan for user enablement to drive long-term adoption through educational content (Ex. Blog posts, eBlasts, best practice guides, video content, and more).
- Develop a deep understanding of the value propositions, product goals and outcomes, and client challenges/benefits, across NBIN’s digital product suite to derive targeted engagement strategies for driving product adoption
- Be an integral part of the digital product development process to stay on top of all marketable features and products and be prepared to support the communication rollout as required to launch
- Track and report on product adoption and determine strategies to push adoption in underperforming segments
- Lead discussions with business partners surrounding product marketing and be an advocate for product positioning and messaging across the business
- Research the competitive landscape to arm sales and product management teams with insights into the strengths and weaknesses of all products.

- 5-7 years’ experience in a product marketing environment focused on technical digital products
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts into digestible and compelling content
- Strong project management skills and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
- Ability to form strong relationships with colleagues including executive level teams
- Experience managing and directing the work of various agencies and vendors for content development purposes
- Curious, proactive, and collaborative when it comes to learning about the NBIN business and its processes
- An advocate for our clients, always keeping the client experience top of mind
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize demands of multiple teams and leaders
