We are looking for an **Accounts Payable Clerk** to join our team in FreshPoint Vancouver.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and a dotted line reporting to the Controller, the **Accounts Payable Clerk **will provide general AP support to the accounting team to ensure vendor payables are completed and processed in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Vouching of vendor payable invoices for all FreshPoint Canada sites
- Accurately assign GL codes to invoices and allocate appropriate tax amounts
- Complete cheque payment printing process and ensure payment terms are met
- Maintain paper and digital copies of paid invoices
- Ensure correct sales taxes are charged to the appropriate vendors
- Organize and file AP voucher packages
- Provide general clerical support to complete the payable process
- Communicate with internal and external parties to manage vendor inquiries
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Finance or equivalent
- Previous experience working in accounts payable, office administration or data entry preferred
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Excellent time management skills, organized and ability to manage priorities in a deadline driven role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Effective communication skills and ability to converse with all levels of the organization
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve problems with mínimal direction

**Location**:1020 Malkin Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6A 3S9. (Accessible to multiple bus lines).

**Core Working Hours**:9:00am - 5:30pm.
