If your goal is to expand your professional horizons, Rockwater offers an engaging environment, where we focus on providing excellent service to our guests, and excellent opportunities for development to our team of hospitality leaders. **Requirements for the job**: - Minimum 2 years of Head Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience ideally in a hotel or catering setting. - Strong supervisory experience, motivating and leading a team. - Food Safe Certification. Red Seal certification will be preferred. - Passion for healthy food & culinary excellence. - High level of integrity, discipline, professionalism and creativity. - Very hands on and motivates by setting the example - Serving it Right certification - Food Safe Level 1 preferred - Self-motivated with demonstrated superior skills in customer service. - Strong problem-solving and time management skills - Team oriented with an equal ability to work independently - Detail oriented along with the ability to perform task in a timely manner and follow instructions. - Fluency in English required; fluency in other languages an asset. - Demonstrated ability to be very organized If you are looking for a fantastic work experience and feel you can contribute to the strength of our Rockwater team, we would like to hear from you. **Salary**: From $30.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay - Tips Ability to commute/relocate: - Halfmoon Bay, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Cooking: 4 years (preferred) - Head Chef: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: One location
